Have to get to Bald Head Island first. Surprisingly good food with a wide variety. On the marina nice view. Good boat destination
I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon a d it came with french fries and it was $14. My wife got an appetizer of Fried Pickles and they are large pickle spears that are breaded. Those are $9. The food was great though.
We ate lunch there recently before touring the Southern Living Idea House. There were three of us and all agreed the food was great. Service was great as well. I had a salad with a side of fried shrimp ... it was the best I had anywhere that weekend ... lightly battered and perfectly fried. We asked a gentleman sitting close by to take our picture and had a great time teasing about fee for taking our picture :). Found out later he was the owner! What fun!
Very poor service. Very poor quality. I ordered a Diet Coke (or Pepsi) yesterday at the bar - it was flat and tasted like a fish aquarium! I sent it back and the bartender said 'Oh yea, we've had trouble with that machine.' He then went into the restaurant to pour a new one from a different tap. But he used ice from the same ice machine and it tasted just as foul! Even tho he noticed my untouched drink he never asked if it was better. The Hostess was rather surly and unhelpful also. Won't be back!
We had lunch at Mojo's on the Harbor after hiking to Bald Head Island (yes, it's possible to hike to an island). It was a fairly large group of 9, so we were seated outside on the deck with beautiful views of the harbor. Service was fine. I'm not a big fan of seafood, so got a burger instead. The food was good - everyone in the group enjoyed their meals and they have a decent selection of beer and cocktails. But the real highlight of this restaurant is the location the location right on the harbor. The perfect spot on Bald Head Island to relax and enjoy a meal or drinks watching the boats in the harbor.
We ate lunch here on a recent trip to BHI. There was absolutely no wait. The server was awesome and knew the menu well. He answered all our questions promptly and our food came out fast. The prices are a bit high but that is expected with the location. The outdoor sitting area overlooks the marina.
